"Sony Info Guide"
Sony do not currently have anything out at the moment that really passes muster. They have 3
good phones that you may be able to get hold of, but most likely not on any pay-monthly set-up
(i.e. much cheaper for you). you may however, be able to get these on pay-as-you-go.
On the whole, Sony mobile phones have been very good, with only a few minor problems or issues (such
as some early editions of the J70 had screen-freeze problems that were soon sorted out).
The three Sony mobile phones that are available on pay-as-you-go are
- The Sony J70
- The Sony J6
- The Sony Z5
Sony menu systems take a little getting used to, and are nowhere near as easy to use as Nokia's
one-menu-fits-all approach.
BUT - These are nice little phones, each of which have proved to pass the reliability tests. Sony
have opted on most of their phones for a natty little roller-wheel on the side of the phone, that
offers a quick shortcut to scroll through the menu system
There are not really any newer Sony mobile phones that
have had enough time on the market to be 'Guinea Pig' tested (i.e. other people have bought them,
experienced the problems, and Sony have fixed the problems, or there were no problems).
